System destined to the management, electronic archiving, circulation and control of digitalised documents (Workflow), integrated or not with GIS applications.

 
Digitalisation

Creation of the electronic image of each page of the document and respective compression, so it uses less storage space. This digitalisation can include a batch of pages and/or documents, which can be catalogued at the moment of digitalisation or later.

Storage

Images are stored in magnetic or optical disk, depending on the system implemented within the organisation.

Display

Consultation of stored images, using the functionalities of rotation, zoom, printing, film mode, etc.

Cataloguing

Images are organised in processes and respective documents, being a type chosen for each document. During the digitalisation process, we can catalogue pages for one or more documents or simply create a batch of pages and catalogue them later.

Annotation

Possibility of annotating documents without changing images.

History

All document transactions are registered, so that anytime we can check the document status history and the users who took part in its processing.

Processes

GISdoc allows defining controlled process courses in such a way that the process is automatically routed upon its start. We can consult the status of any process (respective handling stages, who performed them and when) anytime.

Administration

For users with special administration privileges, GISdoc includes a set of configuration and audit functions which allow them creating users and respective privileges, document types, page types, document lifecycle, etc.
