GIS® - application modules

Developed on IBM iSeries platform, the GIS® SIG - Integrated Management System, includes a set of modules which articulately satisfy the administrative/financial needs of an insurance company. We must emphasise its integration level with the whole technical area, based on the Data Warehouse concept.
 
Accounting

Though this is an autonomous package which, thanks to its flexibility, can be adapted to any type of company, it is specially adapted and tested to serve the needs of an insurance company (Life and Non-life classes).

Financial management

It includes two submodules - Cash management and Bank management - which simplify and decentralise cash tasks (payments, receivings, collections, issue and control of cheques, control of the safe box, etc.), through a centralised and real-time financial control.

Payments management

This module allows controlling the handling of third parties' documents, which can be imported from other applications or be directly entered in this module. It can be integrated with Life and Non-life claim management modules.

Assets management

This application module is designed to manage tangible and intangible assets. It is characterised by its flexibility of adaptation to the variety of information and handling rules relating this activity, taking into account all legal procedures and schemes of accounting interconnection (general and analytical).

Data Warehouse/EIS

This module includes several utilities which allow extracting and manipulating information from application databases and exporting it to external systems and applications (Excel, Crystal Reports, web) having in mind different aims (MIS, EIS, Data Mining).
